Hey guys! Before you say anything, I would first like to say that I am a Kataang shipper; but also a Zutara shipper. There are plenty of us that do this (haha) and I believe we're called multishippers. Also, this is my first "FANART WEEK" ever, and I'm really excited to contribute.

Day 1: Serendipity
In Collaboration with sonicboomerang from tumblr!

It's officially Zutara Week!

My friend and I have decided to collaborate so that we dont have to rush over our works! I will be doing Day 1, 3, 5 and she'll be doing 2, 4, 6. We'll both be doing Day 7.

In the episode Crossroads of Destiny , Zuko and Katara find themselves imprisoned underground. They're enemies, and they know it. But even enemies have something in common.

"The fire nation took my mother away from me!"

"I'm sorry. That's something we have in common."

As much as this is also a sad and heartbreaking thing to discover, it has given Zuko and Katara a certain bond between each other (a bond that leads to development in Book 3, as a result to the Southern Raiders episode.) I like to think of this as a form of serendipity, because it's something you'd least expect from the frikkin. prince. of. the. fire. nation. (though banished at that time).

I'll be uploading Transcend in a few days time. Meanwhile, I'll be updating my journal so you can see SONICBOOMERANG'S (GAIL) contribution, since I wont be doing Day 2! Stay tuned, and thanks you guys!

P.S. (Do any of you know when Kataang week is? Because Makorra week is the week after Zutara week, and Tokka is August 1 - 7, so I have a LOT to work on. Just a little heads up if you do know, thanks. )
