but- can you think of a way to mimic the top ripple effect in photoshop?
i have tried the filters but they are of no use, and the smudging i have been trying has not worked out either. its a rael pic so i doubt you know, but if you have a idea on the matter it could help me out alot.

im honestly not sure. but maybe ask =danalania she used my pic as a stock but it looks like she added more ripple effects with filters, though im not sure. good luck.

The reflection of the ripples looks amazing. Might I suggest trying a shot of just the bottom of the pool sometime? It could turn out really neat. Nice job.

I really like this- I always liked looking under water when I would swim. I like how the light bounces off in different spots making the "strings" of lights- very clear for being underwater-
