Character Description: The Doc is Free Country, USA’s local physician and medical professional, a well-composed woman with the will to aid her patients even if the methods she uses may be considered unusual or cruel. The Doc also has a fascination for pushing average human body(and animals if she gets her gloved hands on one)to it’s limits.
After much time she had done the whole Hippocratic Oath, her superiors suspected there was something murky under her vacant expression. Ultimately, The Doc was found with countless organs stored in her office, and she got kicked out of the hospital and the medical field.
Now that her face would no longer be accepted in that city, she decided to move. Upon looking around the small town of Free Country, an old bearded man, the King of Town, approached her with a proposition: she will be allowed to practice medicine again only if she would work for him in his castle every so often.
It’s an offer she couldn’t agree more to, and she is placed in a faction with three others with fanciful names. The Doc, dubbed ‘the Paladin’, can heal the other three men in battles any way she wants. As long as it works, the King wouldn’t care.
Despite her lack of actual credibility, she is still very passionate about her field of work and cares a great deal about those who choose to become a patron of hers.

Personality traits: Calm, Practical, Verbose, Candid, Persnickety, Inhibited, Analytical, Compassionate, Unethical, Efficient
Likes:
- Studying/teaching modern medicine and biology, the world continues to fascinate her as they make new cures
- Finding new solutions to common health problems(proper or not doesn’t matter to her)
- Documenting the health of the occupants of Free Country
- Peanut butter, especially on apples
- The night time, it only ends if she rests her head down
Dislikes:
- The King of Town’s seemingly endless appetite(although that doesn’t stop her from writing every single prodrome he has, all the while she tries to sketch a diagram of how to fit another kidney into him)
- Being used as a 'war medic’(which is very different than what she already does), she’ll give out discounts for first aid though
- Getting sick(even mildly)because she has two jobs and it disgusts her
- Every time Coach Z mentions that he has/or still does teach a health class
- Using her pill supply, she just feels like hoarding it because she doesn’t feel like anyone will use them responsibly(or can afford them at the actual price she got them)
Relationships:
-
Homestar Runner: Homestar is an energetic man-child and Doc is a reserved and quiet woman, there’s one fact that can save the trouble of unnecessary angst. The Doc has the patience to deal with Homestar.
On most days, she puts up with his off-topic questions and excitable nature to do her job(he gets hurt every so often). This tolerance is due to the amount of people she’s had to work with and Homestar is just a child to her.
Homestar doesn’t think anything bad about Doc(besides the fact she won’t ever give him any of her cool surgeon tools), and behaves just as normally as he does with anyone else.
Why wouldn’t he? Doc gives him sweets every time he goes after he gets hurt.
—
Pom Pom: He is really the true neutral of the town, and Doc will always be relieved about this. While they don’t hang out much, more so due to their work schedules, it’s usually a relaxing time off from all of the other residents of Free Country.
Overall, a very nice relationship.
—
Marzipan: While Doc does keep up with all of the health details of all of the people in Free Country, Marzipan is one she has less information on because of her blatant pledge to natural medicines. Even so, Doc thinks of Marzipan as a tranquil presence.
Marzipan is rather fond of the doctor(they are the only girls and she is more on the calmer side), but won’t hesitate to chide Doc about allowing people to be awful towards her or her use of 'cruel’ methods.
To this day, Doc doesn’t know if Marzipan actually knows what she does behind closed doors. Probably not.
—
Strong Bad: Strong Bad’s opinion of the Doc is iffy to say the least.
One one hand: she always helps him out with his injuries and gives out free bandages and sports tape each time, on the other: she’s pretty boring(Why do the ladies of this town never live up to expectation?).
Don’t get the man wrong, he’ll still go see the doctor for medical attention after a very manly stunt, but he can see all of her faults like he does with everyone else(except himself, but that’s not the point).
Truth be told, Strong Bad kinda unsettles Doc. Strong Bad may present to be an self-absorbed brute, but, somewhere in him, he’s an unstoppable force that she can only try to be an unmovable object to.
Regardless of this inkling in the Doc’s mind, Strong Bad will practically always be neutral towards her; unless he actually needs her for something, in which Strong Bad will try to treat her with some ounce of respect.
Check-ups are fairly common with them(he gets pretty banged up every so often), but those go surprisingly smoothly. Strong Bad lies about his height growth despite being past his preteens and beckons Doc to feel the rippling veins on his arm. And every time, Doc just entertains his imagination as much as she does with Homestar.
There was once a time where Strong Bad would flirt with Doc and she’d politely take off her glove to slap him out of her distance, but they are both more content with the strange relationship they have currently.
—
Strong Mad: When Doc’s clinic first opened, Strong Mad used to get away with not going to the Doc for check-ups because she was virtually intimidated by him.
As said many times before, the Doc has worked with a wide range of people, and many tended to be unpleasant. While getting her medical license(though it’s not like she got one anyway), she had an especially awful experience with high school sports teams, usually there for drug testing.
Long story short: Strong Mad went to her for a health evaluation(he’s a bodybuilder, health should be an important thing), and tried to behave himself civilly during the whole trip. It was somewhat of a surprise to the Doc.
Health inspections are also common between the two(although Strong Bad rarely ever comes to her hurt)as the Doc practically always has a word of advice for him: some for working out, some for the best way to crack in a skull.
Strong Mad may still be a hothead in nature, but he tries to be a little more polite if it’s just him and the Doc in the room out of decency.
—
Strong Sad: Unsurprisingly, he doesn’t see Doc for the same reasons as his brothers. Even though when he sees the Doc, he's in very deep pain, he does like the Doc and her rationality that is far too scarce in town.
When he does see her, Strong Sad comes to her for grisly medical stories and frequently asks about antiquated surgeon tools. The Doc doesn’t mind at all, she likes talking about older methods of medicine and surgery.
Doc supposes giving Strong Mad antidepressants sometimes, but soon after she decides 'no’ because she isn’t wasting any of her pills. She doesn’t think of them as good friends, but he’s okay in her book.
—
The Cheat: The Doc adores The Cheat and usually likes having Strong Bad bring him to the clinic. The Cheat mildly reciprocates for the sole reason being that she’s a lady(Strong Bad is still a little pissed even though he doesn’t even harbor any feelings toward the Doc).
And why does Doc like him so much? She just enjoys learning The Cheat’s unique anatomy, she keeps multiple x-rays and sketches of him in his file.
The Cheat is cute and all, but his cigarette addiction puts her off from doting on him any further.
—
Bubs: The two have an odd affinity for the other that isn’t spoken, and they would rather it be that way.
They’re similar, yet pretty different: both have businesses as a front for some shady operation, very likely to have gotten faked documents/identifications/certifications, and they buy stuff off of each other more than anyone suspects.
While those reasons are apparent, Bubs doesn’t really try to put up a fight when asked about his black market deals and Doc jumps through hoops in order to get someone who might have an inkling about her deranged concepts about physiology.
Bubs sees through her easily(he thinks he probably did worse than what she does) and doesn’t think of her thought process as much of a big deal.
As long as he gets his organs, he can keep his mouth shut.
—
Coach Z: What an offbeat man with a great deal of more than two problems. Coach Z visits the Doc’s walk-in clinic regularly, day and night for several reasons. Whether it’s Coach Z’s aching back or his hips, he won’t hesitate to walk up to Doc’s door with a fist full of coupons he’s saved from all of his last trips to her clinic.
More times than not, Coach Z will gladly walk inside the Doc’s office and request that she prescribe him some ibuprofen or melatonin if he’s in that sort of mood.
And if the Doc is feeling soft, she’ll offer a massage: an hour of the Doc trying to beat a feeling into Coach Z’s inhumanly stiff backside(she finds it easiest to use anvils)as he knocks out on her massage couch she purchased just for him.
Coach Z’s peculiar condition worries the Doc quite a bit, she’s basically made it a hobby to collect notebooks and fill them to the brim about Coach Z’s medical history.
The Doc is better known to keep her stash of pills closed off(hardly ever giving prescription medicine), yet there’s something about Coach Z’s pitiful shape that forces her to hold in a sigh and hand him another refill of naproxen.
Coach Z makes plenty of effort to promote healthy lifestyles to everyone(and teaches a health class, but the Doc prefers to not talk about that at all), which the Doc gives an automatic high reverence to. Coach Z reciprocates the sentiment just as much, maybe more, he doesn’t hesitate to encourage others to visit her clinic.
Aside from physiology, the Doc finds Coach Z more charming than he actually comes off, she brushes off his outlandish comments as things to record in one of her medical files. His absence of judgment fills her with a small bit of endearment as she fails to notice herself mumbling Coach Z’s songs.
—
King of Town: Doc holds a lot of esteem for the King, seeing he has hired her to a high position of power and responsibility, and loses all of her cool(and the admiration)once he disregards her strained warnings about his dietary habits.
The King, in return, treats Doc like an old college friend of his(as he does with all of his men)and takes her out on walks through the town(the city if they have an entire day).
Even if he cherishes their friendship, he wouldn’t for the life of him take her advice about his health.
—
Poopsmith: Since they both work for the King, he and the Doc see each other often. Doc doesn’t have a bad opinion on him, he just shovels, so there’s no need to be irked by him.
Except that the Poopsmith smells, Doc can’t let that go(especially when the King and the rest of his men flung themselves in whatsit).
Poopsmith don’t care.
—
Homsar: Homsar is a strange, strange being that absolutely no one can understand in any way, which includes the Doc. He’s just a leaf in the breeze.
—
Knight: The Knight cares for all of his party deeply and he lets them know every time they go out for a quest(which got old far more slowly than expected).
His easygoingness is a boon(mostly because the Paladin worries over a lot of things every day[though she doesn’t show it]), so the Doc tries to let go for a little bit to show that she acknowledges his affection.
That’s cool and all, but would be cooler if the Knight wasn’t so juvenile and clingy to the healer when in battle; and he brushes it off as being protective. They are an exact copy of (9gag.com/gag/aVwnP3v).
Aside from that, Knight doesn’t get to visit the Paladin in her clinic at all because of their varying work shifts, so he opts to talk to her every time he sees her around the castle.
For cheaper health coverage for the Multifunction Dragon, the Paladin has him monitor and persuade the King into taking her medical advice.
—
Blacksmith: The Paladin and the Blacksmith get along well, both are introverted presences to the Knight’s warmer personality and the Cleric’s apprehension.
They hang out fairly often because the two don’t have to observe and protect the King of Town as much as the Knight(and the Cleric uses his time for other things), they usually do their own thing in one room in the castle and make conversation about whatever comes to mind: the latest things the King has done(or eaten), thoughts on the people of Free Country, if the Blacksmith can make her a new saw because it’s too 'dirty’ to perform surgery with, the norm.
—
Cleric: They’re relationship is flimsy, just jumbled with opinions and circumstances. Really, it’s the Paladin’s unconformity to a higher power and lack of a virtuoso that gets in the way of having higher views of the other.
They take digs at each other like it’s low-hanging fruit, and more times than not they start arguments about the same thing every time they see each other.
The Blacksmith and, more so, the Knight have stopped trying to get them to at least tolerate each other for longer and reside to just talking amongst themselves when a fight does ensue out of apathy.
On the battlefield, it’s virtually the same situation with one key difference. They bicker and criticize the other one in an unnecessary fashion, but they do it all while still acting as a team with the rest of the party, protecting each other from the dangers against them both because they equally understand that there are more important things to be done.
The relationship is frenzied, but they make it stable.

It’s not an exact copy of (aminoapps.com/u/Roxee_Moxie)’s OC Template, but I do have an actually filled out one in my docs. It just feels more condensed when I edited it into this format.
