Description So as some may have noticed, I like doing new paintings based on old ones, so here's another one of those. Kind of a before and after, draw-this-again-y thing.
I started this "new" version two years ago, and the original version is from 2012, so obviously these things sometimes take time... For a long time I wasn't sure where I'd like to go with this piece, then I decided that she's a demon-like entity who used to be an ordinary girl. She had bad luck and turned out like that when she was taken over. Though maybe some humanity still remains somewhere inside her mind? 
She walks in the mist and looks fairly harmless from a distance but if you let her get close enough to notice her evil black eyes, it'll be too late to run.

There's a huge improvement! I love how you have balanced the warm pinks with that cool cyan color. Your focal point is also more defined and it's much more readable without sacrificing detail.

Thank you! I'm happy to hear there's visible improvement; I try my best to get better all the time! And yeah I felt the painting needed some other colors aside from the pink tones and red, it was so monotonous before...

I agree, playing with the color combo is always super fun and it's so freeing and satisfying when you break free from the analogous scheme

So you would think, from afar. You won't notice the red pupils and black eyeballs until she's very close.

I have seen eyes like that before...
They were not evil... Just cursed.
The evil came from somewhere else.
It wasn't their fault....

Like these words: "she's a demon-like entity who used to be an ordinary girl. She had bad luck and turned out like that when she was taken over."
That tells me that it's not her fault. So nothing about her is evil, even though her eyes may appear to be so.

Haha, no worries, I have a lot too. My younger self used
to think some stuff I made were absolute masterpieces and if I look

I love the way her hair flows over her body! Her eyes are beautiful but spooky, and her expression really conveys the demonic presence.
