Description
Ink dropped into water and bubbles. Its not really toxic, of course, the green just reminded me of nuclear waste. This is part of a series of photos that were completed for my first semester studio 1 photography class. My portfolio on Behance contains the remainder of the series. How did you get such a good photo? I have tried to do this before, but i cant get this "flat look" and I also get a lot of distortion formt he bowl i pour it in.

This photograph was shot in studio, and there were lights above, below and behind it. I put the bubbles in and waited for them to float to the side of the glass, then poured the food coloring on the bubbles resting there on the side (careful not to get it on the glass itself).
Well.. I guess I shouldn't say "glass". Glass for me didn't work because there was curvature or bubbles/distortions in the glass. I use a plastic butterfly case that cost about $5 from a local toy seller.
