Description First off, I want to say that this template or meme is not mine, it was made by air30002.  Now that that's taken care of, let begin.

Ah Disney.  Oh how I love your films.  Ever since 1937, these films have touched the hearts of people of all ages.  Because I'm a bit old-school, I decided to include my favorite Disney films from the mainstream series.  They are:

10.  Treasure Planet:  Unfortunately, I have yet to read the book so I cannot compare the source material to the adaptation.  But still, I really liked what Disney did with this movie, it has good characters, the relationship with Jim and Silver is just fantastic and that song I'm Still Here is one of my all time favorites.  And no, I wasn't annoyed by B.E.N. to any of you who are asking yourselves that.

9.  Atlantis The Lost Empire:  To be honest, this is one I didn't expect to like.  Funny story, I saw this one twice in theaters and when the film ended, it was battleship grey both times.  I'm not that superstitious but I almost took it as a sign to not like the film (I was young what can you do).  However, I found this to be a great adventure film.  i liked the characters, the setting, the time period in which the film takes place in.  Plus I like the fact that in the end, the hero doesn't get the girl, they just share a hug.  To this day, Atlantis is the only Disney film that I know of that has that.  Very good.

8.  Hercules:  Not many people liked this one and I'm still not sure why.  I really like Hercules as this was the film that introduced me to Greek Mythology.  It was also one of the first films that I saw that used CGI which is why the Hydra scen is still one of my favorite Disney moments.  Hades, is easily in my top 5 villains as he's just so dang funny.  Phil, like Pain and Panic are downright hilarious in this film, the confrontation with Hercules and the Titans was awesome and I thought it was cool that Herc caused a supernova by throwing the Titans into a star; that's probably the WORST way to go.  Finally I like the final scenes where Herc nearly dies trying to save Meg's soul but is triumphant and that line with Zeus, "A true hero is not measured by the size of his strength but by the strength of his heart," is still an amazing quote and a pretty good message.  All in all, this one is a must if you like Greek mythology, just get ready to sing your heart out with the Muses.

7.  The Great Mouse Detective:  I saw this film at a young age and yes I won't lie about the first time I saw Fidget.  He legit scared me and when I look back on that, I laugh.  As for the film itself, it was definitely a step in the right direction after what happened when Black Cauldron was released.  It's more light hearted, it has memorable characters, an extremely catchy villain song and then you have Vincent Price enjoying every moment.  He was perfect for the role of Professor Ratigan and it's because of Price that he's one of my favorite villains.  Easily one of the best.

6.  The Rescuers Down Under:  I saw this one before I saw the original and I was just in awe at how beautiful this film was, especially the flying scenes with Marahute.  Like Great Mouse detective, another fantastic villain role, this time played by George C. Scott, Johanna by Frank Whelker (He's awesome), John Candy as Wilbur, one of the best side character in any Disney Film and I really liked Bernard and Bianca plus Jake was a cool character.  All in all, this one is a VERY underrated film and I highly recommend anyone who hasn't seen it to do themselves a favor and see this sequel that proved sequels can in fact be better than the originals.

5.  Aladdin:  I'm still conflicted of whether I should call him Al or maybe just Din or how about Laddi?  Okay okay but you can't deny that that was funny.  What can I say about Aladdin that hasn't already been said?  It has the best Disney side character, one of the best power hungry villains, a decent romance, Frank Whelker is always a plus and the song Friend Like Me is probably my all time favorite but I'm still debating and it doesn't just feel like a good Disney film but a good film in general.  I saw this film at a young age and it is still as strong of a film today as it was upon release.  I know I wasn't alonw watching this when hearing what happened to Robin Williams.  In conclusion, Aladdin is still fantastic.

4.  Fantasia:  I was late to the party on this one.  I didn't see Fantasia when I was a kid, I saw it when I was much older and I think that was a good thing.  As an adult, I can highly appreciate Fantasia as a true masterpiece.  The films style is so unique, the music is really good and the stories the music tells is just wonderful plus that animation, OH MAN that animation!  My favorite bit in this film is The Sorcerers Apprentice but if I had to pick a second favorite, it would have to be The Rite of Spring.  I had no problem putting Fantasia this high since it deserves this spot.

3.  Beauty and the Beast:  I have to agree with Doug Walker on this one, this is a film that commits to the Disney formula and follows it all the way through to the end.  I can see why everyone fell in love with this film.  Every time I watch this one, I don't feel like a viewer but more like a guest following along.  The characters are all memorable even though Lumiere is my favorite, the song Be Our Guest is the best song in the whole movie (in my opinion), Gaston makes a good villain; in any other film, he'd be the hero so that makes it a good twist and overall it is just a near flawless Disney film and I'm interested on how the live action remake is going to be.

2.  Frozen:  The first time I ever heard of this movie, I saw that teaser trailer with Sven and Olaf and I thought to myself, "Are you serious?  This is the next Disney film?  That's it, I ain't seeing it."  But then I saw on YouTube, the video for Let it Go and it immediately changed my mind.  I almost never got a chance to see it but thanks to fate, I took y mom and my sister to see it and the three of us loved it.  I like how this one again goes back to the classic Disney formula but adds a twist.  Elsa is one of my favorite fictional female characters and I love the relationship between her and Anna.  Disney made a phenomenal comeback and from what I heard about Zootopia, I feel like we are living the second Disney Renaissance.
.
1.  The Lion King:  In my opinion, the best Disney film ever made.  Is it overrated?  I don't think so.  This is the film I think of when I hear the word Disney.  The characters are memorable, the songs are amazing even though Elton John is an artist I never listen to and the film itself is just HUGE.  I should have seen this film in IMAX.  From what I heard, it was amazing.  As an adaptation of the story of Hamlet, it is simply amazing (I know, I need better adjectives).  There's not much else I can say except, it a masterpiece.

Oh and just a bit of something for you all who are curious enough to keep on reading this, first off, good for you on reading this far, I like to recite things and I once recited this entire movie word for word in my sleep and even I was astounded when I did it.  Still to this day, most of my family doesn't believe I did it but those who do have always said that I have a good memory.  Well anyways, that's the end of my Top 10 Favorite Disney films.  I hope you all enjoyed it.

I need to make more of these.  I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Yeah I agree these are the best Disney movies although in my opinion I would add Hunchback of Notre Dame to my personal disney list because it has the best villain Judge Claude Frollo (I mean in terms of how much you would hate this guy, honestly I'm thinking of making a character based on him in my RWBY fanfic so Iskandar can punch him in the face)

I remember seeing art work of your character Iskandar. That was a commission was it not? I thought something similar would happen.
