pencil on paper / 18 x 25cmAnother drawing I did during my military service from 2009 to 2010. I think this one was completed in 2009. I got bored after I finished my work and then I spotted the poster of Surrogates in a newspaper with a good shot of Bruce Willis' face. One of the advantages of working for the Intelligence, not the combat force, was that I had access to all kinds of books, newspapers and magazines from all around the world...even from North Korea!

I just can't get over the amazing textures you were able to capture with his skin! How you lightly fade the image all the way to the top and letting the mind finish the rest of the figure is a wonderful effect as well. Awesome job! I can only imagine the things you were able to see that inspired you, while in service.
