After starting his second year at UA High School, Minoru Mineta was on top of the world. The Paranormal Liberation Front had finally been defeated, Tomura Shigaraki and his cohorts were in the most secure prison in the world, Mineta had finally ditched his battle diaper and upgraded his hero costume, and he was finally achieving his lifelong dream of being popular thanks to his efforts in the "Paranormal Liberation War". To make things even sweeter, he had finally worked up the courage to ask out his longtime crush, Tsuyu Asui, on a date... and she said yes! Things couldn't be better for the Fresh-Picked Hero. That is, until the Support Course's resident mad scientist, Mei Hatsume, revealed a new machine she was working on, the unimaginatively named "Multiverse-inator", a device that could theoretically open portals to other universes. Why did she build it? Well, Mineta's working theory was that she wanted to have an orgy with her multiversal doppelgangers, but that was beside the point. When she finally tested the machine, with Class 2-A and 2-B as her audience, it went off without a hitch... for about 5 seconds before it started sparking and glowing strange colors. In the process, Mineta was somehow knocked into the machine and exposed to the mysterious cosmic energies, but he seemed to be fine afterwards. Sure, he started having really crazy dreams about other universes soon afterwards, but he chalked that up to indigestion. With her machine now broken, Hatsume wrote off the "Multiverse-inator" as a failure... but little did everyone know, it had actually worked.

The machine had opened a portal to other universes. Six, to be exact. And in the brief few seconds those portals were open, several individuals managed to cross through...

So there's not much else to say, except that this is the official start of the "Multiverse of Mineta" series. Design-wise, the grape boy is pretty much exactly the same, except now I've traded in that stupid battle diaper for some stylish hammer pants. Because really, our boy deserves better.

Also, you might be wondering, who are the other individuals who came through those portals? Actually, if you saw my previous deviation, you might know exactly who came through, but little did you know, they weren't the only ones...

Anyway, stick around for the next drawings to show up here, one per day until I finish posting the first set.
