Description
I have always wanted to try and draw somthing, a cartoon. But my tallent, especally when compared ot the rest of DA... Sucks.But my gift of satire... I am thinking of drawing a cartoon strip.
Any thoughts?

Wel first and most important tought. Dont compare yourself to anyone else on DA. Thats a psycho trap.
1. Admiration of the work of another has nothing to do with your own.
2. All work is individual and can only be judged upon the persons ability.
3. Art comes from the hart, and every hart is unique.
4. Copying is no art. Xerox is not an artist.

"you are beautiful... no matter what they say. words can bring us down. Don't you bring me down today" or something to that effect.
Words: have specific meaning, usage and structure. They are the building blocks of an intellectual mind.
They can uplift the crystalline lactic of a grand concept. Or be a wrecking ball to an intellectual rode block. Or a satirical boom to a grand mental city of fine thought.
words can heal, they can also destroy.
they can save, or kill.
I always try (and fail) to choose my words, very carefully.

Now DA has a new journal and you made it happen.
You are beautifulA special journal today be cause this week (that has just begone) already has me on an edge again. The issue here is what is art and who is an artist. The triggers where people telling others they are not and people bringing themselves down over their own art. Both equally bad and destructive and absolutely counter productive.
Where the first are no artist themselves because you cant create art without hart, the latter victimize themselves. So let me clear this up for you all, once and for all so there is no question left and you will be able to quickly link and inform people who fail themselves or others. The question being:
What is art?

. a -dot. a dot is a thing of seeming unimportance... but without the dot you could not have the line ---- or any other object. without a dot, you cold not have curve, which connects to point (dots) on a globe.
Just watch and you will see where I am going with this.
