ThunderCats as Petalar Seedlings based on ThunderCats Episode 4: Song of the Petalars!!!From Left to Right: Lion-o, Cheetara, Tygra, WilyKat, WilyKit and Panthro.
What if the ThunderCats turned into Petalars!
A crossover was needed!!! I wanted them the stay very simple so I turned the little leaf in the top of the head into the character's different hair styles and gave them slightly different faces. I couldn’t get the right look for WilyKit and WilyKat, their hair had too much going on and complicated their Petalar version too much compared to the others but my personal favourite is Petalar Panthro!
The Make
My original idea was to paint a toy jumping bean or small weighted stone as one. I really wanted it to move around, something cute and funny to hold in your hand but I just couldn’t find the materials. So my Petalars are Handmade from Fimo. Fimo is a very easy to use oven bake clay.
