As for the Real Ash Ketchum, He is still in the Alola Region to look after things along with Go Princess PreCure and Witchy PreCure (AKA Maho Girls PreCure)

Here's some Back Story behind this Scene... While Ash was Looking into Research that Professor Kukui has done, He has a Visit from Motoko Kusanagi (From Ghost in the Shell) In her Thermoptic camouflage to make it like she's a Ghost... (Probably in the same manor as this moment vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/gh… ) She knows that pretty Cure All Stars Saved his life back in the Land of Dreams sensing there Light is Fused to Ash's Heart, Matoko Believes that Should Evil learn that he's now connected to all 55 Precures, They might Get to the girls through Ash, This concerns Ash that he's be used as a Weapon to get to PreCure, Matoko does suggest that He's come up with Contingency Plans to Protect the All Stars Pantheon... Since Pretty Cure are over-Protective of Ash's Safety... It's Ash's turn for them, But just as Ash was Gonna thank Matoko, She's nowhere to be seen, That's when Haruka and Mirai's Groups come in and... Well the Rest is Self-Explanatory.
