*cough* I thought you were referring to a different shot. However yes I was close on this shot too. If you "search" my gallery for eagle or homer you'll see a shot with 50 or so eagles. In this location being close is easy.

Homer, Alaska. If you google "The Eagle Lady" you can learn all about how a lady used to feed the eagles there, and eventually the population that would come and feast everyday through the winter would climb into the hundreds all withing a small area. It is now against the law and the lady has passed away so its not like that anymore.

it has changed a lot, now 10-20 eagles together is all you could expect I would instead put on your list Haines for the yearly Eagle fest, where instead of 100's you might have 1000's of eagles come to feast off the late run salmon in the Chilkat river.
