the starting evolution's name could be maybe Noorock (noob+rock because noob it's small and wimpy I guess)
Noorock hide in forests, it takes about 100 years for it to evolve into one of its evolutions, making it really rare to see evolved.
the brawny one could be named Aboulder (a boulder+ab+boulder)
With its strong body, it can destroy caves. It is very aggressive but protective of Noorock.
The smart one could be named Eniglith (Enigma+monolith)
These pokemon are commonly seen in laboratories, helping scientists figure out the secrets of life. Enigliths are very fragile, so they hide and create psywaves to ward of predators.

just because of that descripition, i feel eniglith should have a ability that doubles the base power of psywave, making it so that it always does lv x 2 for damage, adn the same for aboulder and seismic toss.
and noorock just has a ability that halves the accuracy of every move used.
