Well it's very mermaid-like and mermaids just feel like a very fairy type thing. It also makes a good counterpart to Mega Gyarados' dark type

Oh okay, I guess I can see it that way. But all of the hype for Mega Milotic is that is either going to be water psychic of water dragon. But the art is still very good.
