but it's another to think that yours is the only path .

all i try to do is not to if and when i can .

Same here. It's so easy to know just a little bit about a person, and convince ourselves that we have figured out everything that they are, based on the barest of knowledge. I hate people who do that. I try to avoid doing, though I probably don't succeed as much as I'd like to think I do.
My policy is to try to understand why people walk a certain path, without the temptation to alter that path. The way that I walk works for me, but it isn't for everyone, and my path isn't the 'right' one just because it's the one I chose. It is hurtful when we become self-righteous towards each other - it's just another form of ignorance and selfishness.
