People judge automatically. Its a psychological truth.

Its being the bigger person and being able to realign those false truths that make people better.

That automatic judging is just part and parcel of the social dynamic.

I like the eyes at the top of the frame. Gives the impression the subject is looking up at someone(thing) but with a rather sharp-witted eye. Almost like saying "go ahead, make my day". The cigarette is arrogant and jaunty, and just adds to the positioning of the eyes. Nice shot.

Thanks Im surprised you took it as a judgment piece. That is not a criticism (as any interpretation of art is never really wrong). I just find it interesting what people see sometimes. Thats totally not where I was going

Oh, my comment was more on your artist comment.

The piece is very evocative of a "fuck you, and what you want. I'm doing what I want." moment. I'm trying to teach that to my 13 year old sister. Probably not a great value to instill without a balance.

Its a great piece though, very intense.

Not sure what it is but you have the ability to pull off a "bad boy" look on command with a few facial gestures. Add to that the premise and expression of this photo and it makes for a very deep feeling and tone.

to be honest, its you, its like... your mind. whether you truly did something to be specifically guilty you still see guilt in yourself, as if, the smoke is releasing the regret of the guilt. or like creating a mask to you of the regret. I dont know maybe im just taking the title and forming it too literal to the picture haha, but i like it and i like my thought-process lol
