The first deviation of the year and I'm pretty off on a good start. Before canceling the Everyone Loves Gumball fanfic, Bobert was supposed to have a full bio and picture previously. Unfortunately, due to my past ordeals, it didn't happen. Now, I managed to readjust myself with the Lord and eventually put the picture into action. For starters, the entire concept of Bobert's designs takes inspiration from Transformers, respectively Blitzwing due to the Triple Changer approach. In case I've forgotten, the three scopes on his right side are heavily inspired by Kopaka's Akaku. Storywise, it's supposed to be a settlement on the Bobert Store owners Cody and Jaden, taking notes what didn't work out since The Upgrade. Thus, with the establishment of how Elmore City faced events throughout the cartoon's lifespan, they figured to scrap the original incline and presented a new foundation for Bobert and Mom-Bot, seeing it as a favorable attempt to think ahead in case something happens to the latter. However, despite the advancements and results, some flaws will soon get examined later on. Right now, the designing and coloring of the deviation took forever. While using references from the vehicles, I tried to place the parts in the right positions for his combat form, seeing it as a way to display the original creator's design. I should've shown how he transforms to fit the body correlation, but I'll worry about that later. Anyway, it was the first time to draw vehicles in any shape or form since I'm used to drawing characters. The weapons were simple enough, and the exteriors took a while to draw. Thus, in-universe, I consider it a new experience for the young mech to try out how it works. Whenever he's not using it for discretionary purposes, he'll revert to his original state. It's like trying out a new material that'll you get used to, like how Tony Stark tried his Iron Suit or the Power Rangers adapting to the Zords. I look into this idea once I head to the story. To sum things up, Bobert is ready for battle.
