Vertebrates are tetrapods, not hexapods.
The wings are nothing else than transformed upper limbs due to evolution, not an additional 3rd pair of limbs.
Especially the specimen in GoT.

I know that, in GoT, dragons have their wings extended from their upper limbs, but if i want to draw a dragon this way, or if i want to add him wings or a third eye, what's the problem with that ?
It's an artistic interpretation, not an exact science, the world won't stop turning for that much.
