Description
Just taking a break from con life by sitting up on the fountains. You get a really good view of all the goings-on from there. Thanks to my friend for climbing downstairs to snap this shot of me. One of the few really good frontal shots of my costume! Yay!Costume made and worn by me, photo taken by a friend. Otakon 2007.

I gotta say, hit this nail right on the head. Shego acting sexy is like Chuck Norris acting emotional. It just ain't in character. of course, I can imagine it was hell for you at a convention, dressed like this. Just trying to fight everyone off, struggling to get back to the car..

Actually, Otakon wasn't bad at all. I got a lot of attention, but it was in a good way. People were friendly and polite, and I really enjoyed talking to those who stopped to make conversation. The social situation was the same with Megacon, though I didn't get quite as much attention there. The only issues I really had were at Metrocon, where people don't seem to understand the meaning of the words "personal space." 
And I agree totally. Shego.... sexy? What? I think portraying her like that actually detracts from her character in more ways than one.

True. Besides, not only am I married to my very own Black-Haired Beauty(It's true!), but the only convention we're likely to go to is the Pomona Grand National Roadster Show. So, unless you really like big engines and fancy paint, we're not likely to cross paths.

Thank you! I modified a figure skating costume pattern and sewed the suit, gloves, and shoe tops out of stretch lycra. The rest is accomplished with a wig and makeup.

You know the coolest part about these pics?? The fact that you don't pose all "sexy" or whatever like some people do. That's just lame...and it would be out of character for Shego, anyway. She's confident enough in her beauty that she doesn't feel the need to show it off like it's some cheap trinket or something... I dunno, that's just cool.

"Irritating" is one way to put it...unnecessary is another good adjective. I'd also go so far as to say it's gross and a big turn-off...I mean, what about looking sleezy is supposed to be attractive, you know? Sure doesn't give off any positive personality vibes...
