i think it's because of their legs that the designs are hard. design with 4 legs, they look like mammals. 6 legs, they are too complicated...
actually, it's not 'kick'...this is a 'sonic' fakemon. just like the new gen6 bat... the wings are supposed to be sort of speakers, and he has earphones beside his head... the name is just the sound made by crickets... so... the legs are just to finish off the whole design... i think it's i won't be changing it...
as for colors... they process took quite the effort as well... i think i colored it blue at first because it was so hard to get a 'ground' color at first... but yah... i guess i was lucky to get this color through playing the hues on photoshop...

How often have I said that your work was amazing? Forget about it, this is your best one yet. (Or it's just me prefering bugs?) I love the green, and the blue, and the green, and its wings, and mouth and eyebrows, its tail. It's definitely amazing!

thank you so much for the kind words! XD. i wouldn't say that this one is my best fakemon. but it really took me a long time to settle with the design. yes. i like the eyebrows a lot too. they came from anteanas. so i guess it's an interesting design. haha!

well, crickets are ground dwelling insects by nature... could've made it 'bug + normal'. but that would be too awkward.
