It's a bit macabre maybe, but I like the composition. It's balanced. The hands are very well done, you did a real good job!
Next time I'd keep the background white, but that's more a personal thing I think. But the overall picture is really good!

well I can give you a pretty good recipe.
first boil a pot of water stick your hand in! (that's where i got the skeleton hand)
turn the heat down throw in some yarn, let it simmer. I like to also throw in some parsley and and session salt.
allow it to come to a full boil. I like to serve mine with these cute little doilies I made from dead kittens.
not taking yourself too seriously it's a good thing.
In all reality the recipe is
time + practice.
..oh and don't boil your hand it is not as good as an exfoliate as I thought it would be. lol

I absolutely ADORE the concept behind this picture. It's brilliant and very well done. I would have been at a complete loss if I was given such an assignement. But you managed something very creative and well done! The only thing I could possible ask for is a bit more detail, especailly in the skeletal hand. Perhaps a bit more texture in the meshing 'skin' that's being crocheted. Just a little more definition. But I still adore it. It's spectacular!
