There are effects like raycast that can use normal maps, but MMD is pretty basic and isn't able to use them on its own without an outside effect or shader to make them work. And most of them can be pretty heavy to run and my old laptop is a toaster so using big effects is really difficult for it so I coudn't use them for this render ;;
