Sima Jin is Sima Shi's and Lu Ziyue's only child. Born five years after their marriage, he grew up in prestige, but despite his raising, he has a humble nature, which is quite different from both sides of the family. Also, unfortunately, he was born with a mild degree of psychosis, which his mother had. Before Sima Shi died, he politely refused to be given position as ruler, asking a number of times before his uncle, Sima Zhao, was given the position. Originally planned, Sima Zhao meant for him to rule after they triumphed at Cheng Du, but with fate being so cruel, Sima Jin died with his mother.

By all means, he didn't live much of a hard childhood, but he lived differently. During his early years, he barely had any friends from outside the castle, and was fond of fire and torture, as a result of his birth defection. He usually spent his time making dolls and treating them like trash, dismembering them and cutting them. This made his father despair. And he was a little quite mischievous, he followed his parents to WuZhang and witnessed the battle when he was nine. This motivated him that once he was old enough he will keep pushing forward for his kingdom. (Because then he thought all the fighting was useless) After that until he was 15 he took all this training seriously and strived to be worthy of becoming ruler, but he soon discarded the idea before his father died.

He led the main army in the battles against Shu and let himself be a secondary strategist if ever. Even after quite the many battles he usually tends to stoop down to a level a little lower than he should, continuing his slightly excessive humility (unless he's mad). However, during the third Shu campaign, after his father died, he and his mother, Ziyue, shared a common goal: to kill Jiang Wei once and for all, but he had a different reason. It was for revenge for all the lives they wasted and the pain Wei inflicted on his father. During their confrontation, Jiang Wei looked him in the eye and taunted Jin to kill him. (making a reference to his mother's eyes, her 'hateful and demoralizing stare' had been passed down to him [because they have the same eyes, HP7 reference >XD] and if he truly wanted to kill Wei, he would have a long time ago) This angered him and charged off, only to fall to Wei's trap. But was soon rescued by Zhong Hui and fought and soon won the battle.

Since then, he possessed unwavering valiance, vigor, loyalty and determination to defeat Shu and bring peace to the land once and for all. And with his strong spirit, led to the success of their army. But deep down inside, he just wanted to die, he wanted everything to end, he didn't want to fight and waste lives anymore. This, he lost himself between committing suicide and living to fight on. He chose the latter because until then, his family and kingdom needed him to fight with them until the bitter end.In his last battle, the battle of ChengDu, he fought at the front lines alongside his mother, who was then killed by Jiang Wei, but managed to kill him too. Just when he was about to slay Guan Suo, he was shot by Jiang Wei's son, Jiang Li, by a spear that was thrown at his back. He whispered his happiness of finally dying and knowing how it would feel, and the regret of failing his uncle to become the ruler after Shu was defeated, yet he didn't want to become ruler anyway, and that their family can finally be together again. He soon died when Jiang Li hacked him to pieces in rage. -How cruel-

In the end, Sima Zhao wept endlessly at the loss of his beloved nephew and Jin's future ruler. So he had no choice but to give the position to his retarded son, Sima Yan.

Character personality:

Sima Jin has a passable level of confidence, but he can't bring himself to be arrogant. he's the typical kind of good-natured man, but he has a darker side due to his psychosis. Generally, he is very kind and caring to others and really doesn't wish for them to be hurt. But due to his psychosis, he tends to physically hurt living things. He finds joy in torture and burning people alive. He even skinned a prisoner-of-war using his bare hands and kept laughing throughout the whole process. Even when he reverts to his usual self, he doesn't mind what he did, and only utters out a sarcastic 'sorry'. He has a small inferiority complex but then he himself is quite vain -I MEAN LOOK AT HIS CLOTHES- Despite his good nature, he is very judgmental about the people who cannot properly do their work due to laziness, and tends to say VERY hurtful words. He was once courted by a homo and said something very hurtful, resulting to the man's suicide.

Despite all these, he enjoys the company of his fellow allies and his family, doing all his best to live up to their expectations and to protect them as well. Sometimes, he shows suicidal tendencies, just because of a damned curiosity on how it feels to die. In the end, he was happy he died painfully, but regretful of the waste.
