You know, this was supposed to be a sketch of Bailey (my Starbound main). Somehow it turned into a project. I realized that for whatever reason, in all my sketches of her, I've never drawn her in armor. Probably because I blow at armor. This didn't seem so bad, though, after drawing Warcraft armor a few times... Prismacolor markers, technical pen, and a lot of tunnel vision. Moebius (or even Gir) was a French artist, cartoonist and writer, whose real name was Jean Giraud. Besides creating his own comics like Blueberry, he also worked with Marvel Comics and contributed storyboards and concept designs for films such as The Fifth Element and Alien.
His work is very organic, using loads of curves. He was big on sci-fi and vast rocky landscapes, and that's why your work here made me think of him
