I've been needing to do some real cover art for Square Roots for some time. When this "Adorable Minecraft" contest came to my attention. ( i-sunny-i.deviantart.com/journ… ) it seemed like a good opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.
Pictured here are all of the notable characters from the comic, some of whom have not been introduced yet. (And some of whom will not be for quite some time!) It feels good to get this done. I have a lot on my plate right now, both in the art world and in the real world, so getting one more thing out of the way is a load off, I tell ya! Thank you to everyone who's been a fan of the comic. You keep me going! It's really great to know that other people are enjoying my derpy sense of humor.

Hehe, thank you! The spider will be coming up in the next comic. The girl's name is Desda. ^^ I know she wasn't named in the previous comics, but I've mentioned it in some of the other art, hehe.

I think I would die of laughter if I saw a skeleton riding a spider 
I've not encountered the giant jellyfish thing yet. Do they only appear in the Nether?

The ghasts are only in the nether, yes. The get annoying. You haven't seen a spider jockey yet? Luck you! If a skeleton and a spider share a spawn point, there's a chance that one will spawn and chase you around.

Skeleton riders happen. Steer well clear and use a bow/wait for day until you know what you are doing. xD
Ghasts do only occur in the nether. They fly and so are very hard to hit with anything but a bow, and hard to hit even with a bow because they change directions a lot and don't stay very close. xD

I'm so glad somebody noticed Bob's misfortune! Hehe! Thank you so much! I didn't tend to draw simpler cartoons like this until I started Square Roots, so it's great to know that people still think they look nice. And yeah... the background took awhile. Mostly the damned grass, lol.

I don't know. I've been working on it on and off for a couple of weeks. And that white thing is a Ghast - a giant ghost that floats around and tries to spit fireballs at you. They make cute noises, but they get annoying after awhile! <3 Thanks for the comment!

Oh, I know the whole story haha. I still find it fun to believe in him though. Really I'm kinda not certain either way - I wouldn't be surprised to see him (and wouldn't panic if I did, panicking is how you end up killed by him), but I wouldn't be surprised/disappointed if I never found him. lol
