Description The Big Announcement on 26 May at Pacifico Yokohama was about the release of movie on 2014, not season 2...What a BIG annoucement

So the sequel is actually talking about the movie, and there's this three guys from Blue Clan...HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE MOVIE IS ABOUT...



Sorry to let you down, but if it is a movie, we might have to wait longer for blu ray disc and translation

PS: I don't know whether there will be season 2 or not already, for now let's just hope..

They aren't gonna make a season 2. The movie is the season 2 they mentioned. At least English dub of K is coming July 12. I've heard they got good voice actors

this is sad news. I do hope a second season is made in the future by any means of convincing or something. They have a lot they can work with and a shitton of characters for side stories.

It probably is JUST going to be a movie.
If you go way back to the original announcement it did not say a "second season" it said "sequel is in production"
This [link] page mentions the sequel being this film.
The page for "K season 2" on MAL has also now changed to "K (Movie)"
Of course, the only way we will know for sure is if we wait to see what happens.
A lot of people are still saying that the movie is not 100% guaranteed as the promised sequel.

Kuroh DOES look pretty smexy there. I looked at the characters. Turns out Mikoto is a supporting character........

I thought the season two was already in the making after being green lit? And that it was going to be released the same time season one was released?
Now I don't know if that was true, or a rumor, but I think the creator said that it was indeed green lit?
D: But this movie.......It would be awesome if they concentrated on the Blues, all of them have amazing hair and barely anything to them except a name. XD It would fun to learn more about them!!!

D: I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that it was green lit and in production....but now I guess we'll wait....again. I hope it's not like Durarara all over again...where the season two never comes.

Kinda disappointed, but hey they could animate more from the K universe after this and maybe a possible sequel if the movie does not wrap up the main story.

I'm sure we will be getting more manga and novels too! Although I prefer manga since novels are never really translated in full or there is only snippets of them floating around. >_>

If your talking about the new manga that has been announced it isn't released yet nor do we have any info on what its going to be about. Memory of Red and Stray Dog are available on mangafox though. As for the post where I found the information at its buried within the K tag somewhere. xD
