Description Description in english:

Hello!
Today I bring a drawing of a scenario of the Amazon front of the Latin American coalition and the Portuguese empire, as well as new concepts for the 1860 steampunk alternative universe such as "air forces", anti-aircraft artillery and a little lore.
Hope you like!

• Amazon Front:

As the name implies, the "Amazon Front" is the front between the Portuguese Empire and the Latin American coalition.
It is one of the most violent fronts, constant artillery and aviation bombings, trench fighting, ambushes, traps, blind jungle fighting, they are the daily bread ... although the empire and the coalition have similar military tactics and strategies (of direct combat) on this front, the Latin American coalition has used guerrilla and ambush combat quite a lot, taking advantage of what was learned in the independence wars and the veterancy of the troops in jungle combats.
The Portuguese troops, the majority being recruits newly entered into the war and living their entire lives in the great cities of the coasts (in the Portuguese territories of America the population is concentrated in cities, unlike the Latin American countries, where there is a large population in rural areas), they are not accustomed to the hostile Amazon rainforest, although it may not seem so, these disadvantages are of great concern to the Portuguese high command, who cannot recruit the population of their rural territories since the vast majority of farmers They are supporters of the coalition.

• Air force and anti-aircraft artillery:

Although aircraft are still a fairly new technology, modern armies already use them in war, only the bravest or stupid soldiers are enlisted in the air force, being a developing technology, it is common for aircraft engines to fail or directly explode, currently the use of the air force is mostly for the bombing of enemy positions or to shoot down the powerful airships (the airships in this universe were the first aircraft to be created and used in the war). To repel aircraft, modern armies have developed their own types of anti-aircraft armaments, from very powerful rifles that reach great distances to anti-aircraft artillery, these armaments are also used by soldiers to repel other war machines in addition to airplanes, such as armored cars.

Descripción en español:

Hola!

I think it is neat that you cover different area's other then WW1 & 2. I thoght of doing some stuff along the Colonial timeline but wasn't into what happen to the occupied so I let it go. Never thought about doing it the way you are with the occupied having their own military's, great idea!

The airplanes in this universe are new technology, maybe even "unstable" as I explained in the description, apparently based on the first planes that were created, those that were made of wood almost entirely, although in this universe in They look more like the ww1's, although that depends on each army.

Here they're again. you know, i always say your military characters and art style is so unique. they remind me always like they were drawn back in the 1950's such a classic wonderful style. idk, maybe it's because i loved toy soldiers when i was younger, i mean WW2 plastic soldiers. well done here on the scene. brilliant art and artist.

I *love* Air-Fix! So far I've only bought WWII German infantry in terms of soldiers, though.

OH yes, my fave's were German infantry, British commando's, 8th Army, Afirika Korps, Russian Infantry, German Snow Troops, The, Italian infantry, Figures were really detailed, i had loads of others but these soldiers were my faves because of the detail on some of the soldiers and well they looked brilliant. i know the Nazi's done some terrible atrocities but that paratrooper uniform was awesome.

Yess, I *love* the German uniforms! And there's just so much detail in them! I'm not the best at painting small things, but I was able to get them to look pretty nice!

I used to paint mine also. i used to build dioramas too. i do also love the WW1 AirFix German Infantry, the moulding of the figures was far better on the German Solders than they were on the English Tommy but that was a long tome ago now. all my Soldiers are long gone unfortunately you still collect?

I was making a diorama as well, but I didn't have the proper buildings. I managed to add muzzle flashes to the guns with painted cotton, too! And I'm relatively new to the world of plastic models, so yes, I collect them. Also: I'm sorry you lost them!
