You're right, even here in Argentina he's more famous for what he represented that for who he was (not sure if I expressed myself correctly e_e)

Quino was a genius indeed :>  Mafalda is simply brilliant <3  OMG! You like mate? OOO:  Now that's new! I didn't know that it became that popular! Last year I was talking with some mexicans about it, and explaining the whole thing about getting together to share it, talk, even when you go to a shop and the seller offers you mate xD, when I realized how complex and beautiful it is n_n  Makes me feel proud of my culture ;D  so glad you enjoy it too

Yep, a great genius ! But he wasn't so famous in France, I discover it because I've studied Spanish at school^^
Same for mate, an Argentinian correspondent came in Spanish class and he showed us mate (that nobody knew), but I was the only one of all the class to like that :/ And here, it's impossible to find something to prepare mate again, I was so sad... XD
