In distress, she fled her country and both got into a journey for Yukiko to heal from her own traumas. They started embracing these mutual feelings they had for each other. Even if the world made them ennemis when Yukiko’s clan fell into disgrace. They still ended up finding each other back and had their first kiss before Gaara left for war.
