In case you guys wanted to see this. :'DDescribing it in order -
1. Unshaded the base.
2. Tried to do an alternate pose with a martini. FAILED TERRIBLY.
3. Stuck with the original pose, and built a palette for it. I also did the face here, because the face decides a lot of the personality for a picture.
4. Drew the outline of the clothes. (I used a picture of Marilyn Monroe for a reference) I also made her smile (:
5. Outlined the bathing suit-line and drew a pearl necklace, whee!
6. Shaded the clothes. I'm not sure why I made the bathing suit originally green, it looks gross, lol.
7. Started shading the skin.
8. Drew a basic outline for hair...it's a big longer than Marilyn's though D:
9. Put in the base color for hair (:
10. I picked my next darkest shade and began to put in more outlines.
11. Began shading with my dark shade. :'D
12. Picked a MUCH better color for the bathing suit. Ahh. (: Half of her is shaded purple 'cause it looks pretty so bite me. I also finished the hair with a lighter shade as well as highlights. Her lips are red now (;
13. I made some minor adjustments, scribbled the lazy background, and voila! We have Marilyn!!
