Description

When [Y/N] opened her eyes again, she swore she saw the water moving. Then again, that's what water usually does.

The girl had hid herself in one of the lower decks between rolled up ropes and was currently looking out of a embrasure (these windows through which you can shoot with canons), when she noticed that not only the water was moving but the island in the background as well.
Oh no, don't tell me-

"Well, well, well, what do we 'ave 'ere? A young lass! Tell me, what is a fair maiden like you doing on our ship?" As if in trance, she turned around slowly, only to face a rather dirty man.

••• ••• •••

The poor girl was immediately grabbed by two strong hands of two men and dragged up the stairs, across the upper deck and in front of the Captain's quarters.
A knock later, the wooden door opened only to reveal a rather hands- *cough* filthy pirate with long dreadlocks and a red bandana on his head. Immediately, the [h/c] haired girl started to struggle and free herself of the men's grasp - what would they do to her?

"What is this lovely lass doing on my ship? Mr. Gibbs, care to explain?"

"Aye, we found her on one of the lower decks, Sir."

Turning to you, the man - probably the Captain - said, "Well then, I think it would be proper to invite you to my humble cabin, wouldn't it?"

The girl shyly nodded and followed him. She became all too aware of the weight that was strapped to her hip and the wonderful reflection of light it gave off. Ever so slowly, her hand wandered down to its hilt and gripped it so hard that her knuckles turned white. Admittedly, she had always dreamt about what it would be like to travel the world - to be a sacrilege! pirate...but now she was afraid, for the girl didn't know these strangers, didn't know if they were kind or take advantage of her, didn't know if she would be welcome or thrown overboard.

What if her dream turned out to be a nightmare?

Without saying anything, she followed him into his cabin. It seemed noble with its exquisite and polished wood and the delicate glasses on a desk.

"I believe we 'ave met, lass. What was your name again?" She remembered - he was the man stuck in quicksand!

"[Y-Y/N], Mr. Sparrow."

"Captain."

She only rolled her eyes and almost loosened up when she saw the Captain grab a small dagger and thinking that he wanted to threaten her, she pulled out her sword and pointed its tip right at his throat.

"Nice toothpick you 'ave there, lass." Jack raised a brow and raised a finger, laying it on the sword to push it away from his throat and stepped back, grabbing a clean glass from the desk.
"I assume that a lady like you prefers wine over rum, eh?"

She nodded, finally understanding that he wanted no harm and accepted the glass he was holding out for her.

"So", he continued, "Why are you here?"

"I-I want to join you. I want to become a pirate", she responded firmly. Jack coughed and almost spilled his rum, staring at her wide-eyed. She was a young woman, why would she want that when she could have a much better life?

"Is that so?" He took some steps forward and walked around the girl until he stood behind her back. Leaning over her shoulder, he whispered into her ear. "You will 'ave to follow my rules though, savvy?" She nodded again. Taking a swig from his rum with his left hand, he laid his other one on her waist and pulled her closer. "Great. Welcome to the crew."

She could swear that she heard Gibbs complain about women on board and bad luck...
