I placed a water droplet on a DVD since the colors are quite cool especialy when you have light directed on them. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Not so much of a genius but lucky. I saw light reflecting of a dvd disk and it looked so cool I had to take a shot, well I decided to add a droplet of water on the dvd to get more out of it.

These are really nice shots! I wish I could macro so I could get the actual detail of the colors IN the drop like you did. That'ss really cool. CD's do make some nifty photos

It mostly depends on the lens you use, I got this really nice macro lens...it is 100mm EF macro lens...it costed me $550 for it. really worth it

Yea, make sure that you have sunlight or some kind of light source beating on the drop. Enjoy!
