Description [ RIOT'S Charred Out Fire Starter | Arson | Male WGWL German Shepherd | Working Dog Coalition CACIB  | Pedigree-Club ]
{ Foundation x Foundation | K9 Riot Control Kennels | K9 Riot Control Training Program | K9 Riot Control Breeding Program }

Arson entered the ring with his handler, Isa, at a slow trot. The 25 inch tall German Shepherd Dog felt the thin leash tug at his collar and the gesture prompted him into a slower walk until Isa prompted him to stop. He looked at Isa before he looked straight ahead once she gave him the hand gesture for a stack. He stood at a nice stack beside Isa and allowed the judges to look at him and touch him. He wasn't the average show line in the ring- in fact, this was his first time in a show ring and not out in a sports field or next to a soldier in battle. The three year old dog was a little confused and curious, but his willing and obedient nature led him to follow Isa's orders- although, this was his first time really working with Isa as well.

Arson was used to working with his bestfriend and human partner, Rian, a United States Marine who started K9 Riot Control Kennels. The two were inseparable and worked great together, and at the moment they were on break from the battle field, waiting to be called back for their next mission. In the meantime however, Arson had a lot of free time for shows and competitions- and sports. Isa was given permission to show Arson on behalf of K9 Riot Control by Rian and the kennel's co-founders Flanch and Wren. Isa trained with Arson and Rian and learned all the commands Rian had taught his dog, and she gained all the ins and outs of Arson's temperament and personality; allowing her to better work with him.

So now, here they were, together in the show ring. For Arson it was weird not having Rian handling him, but Rian was watching a bit away, hoping his K9 companion would do at least decent in his first official show.
