i find the textures to be very nice, but at some spots it really kills the line work. there are a lot of little details in the lines that make this illustration shine, and though the colors work for this, the texture seems a bit strong.

yes. the texture destroyed the lines... It was an experiment... next time it will be better

thats cool, it all about practice right? these days i find myself re-drawing the same thing over and over until i get it right, that way if i ever do anything similar in the future, i'll have it down no problem.
