I went and gave the anime a watch after reading your comment, and wow. I was really blown away by its quality. Whoever storyboarded it is awesome and not like so many of the mindless animation companies out there that do lifeless manga adaptations. Made me love Haikyuu all over again!

HMM if you want another sports anime, have you ever seen Kuroko no Basuke? It's pretty great as well.
