Description Something I'll probably use in my portfolio. Not quite a hyena though (more closely related to modern horses and whale) the prehistoric Andrewsarchus- largest carnivorous land mammal that's ever lived.

Might make my own character out of one of these guys. They're awesometastic.

Half of the expressions were pen, other were on the tablet. Enjoy!

They didn't evolved into anything. They've just vanished like mammoths, without leaving any descendants.

they are related to Sheep and Goats so if they did not change into anything to survive how dose that make sense.

Unfortunately a lot of prehistoric animals hadn't left any descendants. In late Eocene environment was changing rapidly enough to leave large mesonychians like Andy without anything to eat - they mostly fed on large slow herbivorous animals, which were extinct by the end of Eocene, while Paraceratheriums were to big to be killed by Andy.
Therefore, mesonychians had just extinct. Without leaving any descendants. If some modern animal would have been Andy's descendant, it would make obtaining Andy's DNA a lot easier, than it is right now.

i see where your standing right now but still DNA of animals can change drastically over the time that the speices is alive considering how raptors turned into modern birds

Nice character! I like that I can't tell what the hell he is, just that he's cool. Especially the claws and grins.

The only thing... I don't know if his stripes would look like that when sitting. Shouldn't they have an 'arch'? It seams like that on the small full body drawing.

Thanks. Heheh obscure prehistoric animals are fun.

That's true. I'll have to keep that in mind next time.
