Hey you weirdos. Why are your eyes closed? You're gonna spill tea all over and make a mess.This was my entry for the Cal State Fullerton animation/illustration club's monthly drawing challenge. September's theme was "Polite Monster" and I thought Edgar would fit right it. Unfortunately, I didn't win. :I Oh well, still had fun drawing it. I did a background and everything!

i looked at the other entries and i cant believe yours didnt win. Most looked childish.

That's what I thought too! Not to toot my own horn too much, but most of the entries don't exactly look like art student work. The one at the bottom won, which I kind of liked, but doesn't look like that much effort was put into it.

Daww! Reminds me of that scene of that old Disney cartoon, The Reluctant Dragon. then again I find scenarios of character(s) sitting on the fat belly of a monster to be super endearing. x3
Anyhoo, such a serene scene, I like all those frilly details, too. 83
