A simple illustration I did for the reading of "Little Red Riding Hood" for Blind Reads.
This particular retelling is called "Little Red-Cap", by Brothers Grimm; if you'd like to give it a listen, the story is now live and can be accessed here
I find the earlier version of this story (by Charles Perrault) even more fascinating; it is meant to be a cautionary tale about sexual predators, and while the original meaning has been watered down with each retelling, it is certainly a great fairy tale to teach children to be wary of strangers - especially those asking many, many questions
