Description There is no load page. -_-; I tried to make one, really, but I just couldn't figure it out. I did manage a play button, though! Yay for me. So just make sure the page is fully loaded before you hit it.... Or just hit the download button and watch it that way, I guess. It's pretty short anyway.

Totally forgot to post this sooner. I actually did it a week or two ago. I just had the need to do some frame-by-frame, and this is what I came up with. Yay for magically appearing paint. XD

Isn't it wonderful? XD You wait so long to get that mask, you put it on, like, THESECOND you get it... and then Majora is dead in an instant. XPXP And then you're back to normal Link for the ending. Boo-hoo, I say.

But have you turned the system back on since? If you pick up the game after you've beaten it with FDL, all your masks are back!!1! And so is the moon, wtf. BUT YOU KEEP THE FDL MASK. Talk about a time warp. XD You can only wear it in boss rooms, but let me tell you, it's SO fun to go run around a random boss room as FDL, slashing at things. There are also some glitches and tricks online for how to be FDL in certain places - like in Sakon's hideout, or running around Terminian field. ...But there's always the caveate that it could mess up your game, so I'm wary of those.

But congratualtions anyway. I find it's fun to just put the mask on, and take it off, and put it on again. XD But then again, I like hearing Link scream. ^_-

Totally. XD FDL is the only reason I started playing the game. ....But then i became hooked when, after a half hour of playing, the moon CRASHED and I DIED. ...That was so awesome. <3 I love Majora's Mask.

Well, I drew one. XD Then I made a new frame and hit the "onion skin" button in flash. This allows you to see the last frame greyed out below the current one you're drawing on, like tracing paper, or using a light box. Then I drew the next frame, looking up slightly and turned more away. It looks natural because I tried the action myself first, to see how I would put on face paint (you tilt you head away from it), then I followed "arcs." Everything moves smoothly in an arc in real life, and even smoother in animation. <3

Also, the important part is to make the keyframes look good. That means, when the animation stops (like when he's in profile), that frame has to be clean and nice-looking. All the frames in between have to show general motion, but they don't have to be perfect. Instead of hitting "play," try right-clicking and hitting "forward." You can see every frame I drew by repeatedly hitting that, and you'll see that a lot of them look weird. XD But they go so quickly, you don't notice it. Animation is wonderful like that.

Thanks. ^^ Flash is easy or hard as you make it. I'm not very good at it, so I usually just do frame-by-frame stuff. That's exactly the way you would draw an animation in real life, except without photography/scanning. So in that way, flash is easier. ^_^

Flash also has a lot of tricks to make animating even easier than THAT. You can convert pieces into symbols, then just move the symbols around, hit play, and they animate themselves. That's how people do color animations in flash. Also, you can do things like motion-tweens, which saves yourself from drawing a lot of inbetween frames.

If you learn the tricks, flash makes life very easy. ...Unfortunately, you can't learn them on your own. You really need to find a good tutorial or five, and go from that. And like any program, the more you use it, the easier it gets. ^^
