Description
Zecke-M launchers were acquired by Germany in late 2026 in order to supplement NSM launchers captured in previous years and inability to acquire more of this missiles. Zecke-M missile complex officially entered service in late 2027 with total of 4 batteries purchased directly from Russia. In later years Zecke-M was upgraded with locally produced PV-300A missiles with range of 300km, 150kg warhead and overall mass of 650kg. Max speed of new missile is 1020km/h, it have INS, GPS and dual-band radar guidance. Seeker can detect target on its own at max range of 50km. Zecke-M launchers have been combat used during Polish Border Conflict - mainly to engage ground targets. PV-300A missiles shown decent capability of destructing enemy emplacements and other facilities, and cost of each missile ranging in 580k $ and their large stockpiles allowed for their nearly constant use. Zecke-M remains second most widespread AShM system in NVA, being slowly replaced by NSM in their role. PV-300 missiles have several derivatives and can be mounted and used by ships, helicopter, aircraft and ground launchers. There also exists 20ft container-based version with 4 missiles called Zecke-C.
Typical KüVeRakKom NSM battery used by Kriegsmarine consists of:
- 4 KüVeRakSys Zecke-M launchers carrying 8 NSM missiles each and crew of 3;
- 1 BtKoKomSys NM-26M battery command vehicle with crew of 3;
- 1 MoKüÜbR TRS-4D coastal defence radar vehicle with range of 250km and crew of 3;
- 1 RMMV UGI/2C 8x8 (W) workshop vehicle with crew of 5;
- 4 RaTrFz Zecke-M ammunition carrying vehicles with 8 missiles each and and crew of 3.
For battalion level command Be-KoKom Seesterne is used and other additional command vehicles can be attached to maximize effective use against ground targets.
