I love this shot! The angle and everything is perfect.
I used to have one of these parrots as a pet, they are very sweet, but you really have to earn their trust. Great companions (when you dont have children, as they really are like a child themself).

oh I believe that! Our old neighbor's had a parrot, but they have to give it away eventually, because they didn't have enough time for the poor animal and it got aggressive. But I think if you invest a lot of time in them they can be great companions. Although I'm always a bit afraid of their sharp beaks to be honest with you...

Yeah, I think they are the perfect pet for someone that doesn't plan on having children (since parrots live longer than we do most of the time) and has a lot of time. They are so much fun and you can train them to do so much. Yes, I got nipped a couple of times (just warning nips though, thank goodness).

yeah I was trying to go for something different and focused on its plumage, so the head is blurry on purpose So I guess it's just a matter of taste!
And yes, the character thing is definitely true, parrots are really strong-minded!
