Description
This "painting" was just really a test, but i started getting ideas and things to do, and this is what happens when imagination runs wild.......

Its kinda a play on "Mickey is God"......Mickey as the Apprentice is used as an icon as a "ruler of Disney Universe/Disney Magic" and sorts....so, being a religious person, i decided to do a "Let there be Color" scene? In the bible "God says 'Let there be Light', and it was so" well instead its "Mickey said 'Let there be Color', and it was so" so its mickey and his omni powers creating color for the universe......plus i got the idea when playing the Epic Mickey game...hence the "paint"....

the background i wanted to look like Watercolors but i also wanted the brush stroke definite looking so i added oil paints to it......Mickey, took a longer time than the background. i colored him in using a trace that i did earlier....so like coloring a color page......i used flat, basic colors, then using Water color, i shaded him...then it came to me that "creating color like God" would need a bright light. thats where Soft Charcoal came in....i was just going to leave it as is, but a simple lens flare definitly pulled it off better, so theres some lighting effect from that. but MY lighting effect i did by hand, i think, was perfect.......
