A very beautiful painting. I agree with others, the background really adds to the piece! 
My favorite parts are her face and those fluffy eyelashes and all the gold.

I love the Eira and flute theme, it's very lovely. I also love the common theme of reds in each of the pictures.  

Her hair looks really neat in this. Also the little details are lovely. ^^ I agree I think the gold works nicely as the background, it has sort of a heavenly glow to it or even a tribal feel to it as well.
