Background--->

    Tinker Tot is from the esteemed 'Crowe' family of bat ponies, one of the leading houses in their species and the ones who wield power. Tinker, however, doesn't really fall in with her families ambition of serving the Princess of the Night, even after her banishment to the moon. She just wants to invent. She doesn't want to spend all day in the courtyard fighting with swords, or learning to fight. She just wants to fiddle around with metal and all sorts of other shiny, shiny things.
    But she wasn't always like this. When Tinker was just a tot she was the best trained filly her family had. She was skilled with all sorts of weaponry and was well-read on the history of her people. However, Tinker was born white. It' quite uncommon for Bat ponies to be born a light colour as it does lends nothing to help them in the shadows, and with a white coat, she stuck out. Fearing her family would never accept her as a Guard-to-be Tinker set out to find something that could help her hide in the shadows. Something, maybe, that could change her coat colour from white to black.
    Finding all the random hunks of junk that she could, the young pony set out to build a machine that would actually dye her fur, and her mane. It was a simple little thing that worked like a spray bottle, except with more moving parts. It worked exceptionally well in the testing phase, where Tinker dyed part of her mane pink. For once in her life the little pony could see colour on her body, and it astounded her. She got her cutie mark right then and there, and sadly gave up on her dream of becoming a guard. After all, her talent lay in inventing, not fighting.

Education
Grade---> Fourth Year
Teacher--->
Class--->
Why they are at Manticore Academy---> Due to her families wealthy status she merely asked her parents to attend this school. Part of it was because she wanted to get away, and see the world, the other part was that she believed that she could further her skills here. There was much more interesting stuff to find in the North. New materials to build with, and new inventions to craft.
What they hope to get out of the academy---> Be the very best. Like no one ever was.
Dorm Room--->

Character Misc
                                                                        It's a terribly ill-advised idea to call Tinker short.

Roleplay Example--->

 "Just... a little... more... and I-- I've got it! YES!" Tinker threw her little hooves up into the air in celebration. Her newest creation had just been born, and it was thrilling! But... the real question stood now. Would it work? Tinker had a tendency to botch her work, sadly, and it could sometimes end in a terrible explosion.
    Hopefully not this time. The young albino bat pony sat back, wings tucked at her sides, and eyes narrowed. She leaned close to the small mechanism, inspecting it for any kind of defect, missing part, whatever. It seemed fine, but then again, looks were deceiving. "Okay." She puffed, leaning her head back and forth quickly, audibly cracking her neck. "Let's try this out." Tinker reached out her hoof and switched the device on, only to fly back under her bed and scurry into the safety of shadow, should it turn on her.
