This is a contest entry for Jesterry's Tsunade contest.[link]
When I saw Jesterry's contest I knew I wanted to enter because of the sudden image in my head of Tsunade and her sadness for her lost friend Jiraiya.
I am not the type to draw sad pictures but I just couldn't get this one out of my mind.
Jiraiya wont be there for her birthdays so this is Tsunade and maybe a hallucination or the memory of Jiraiya, both with tears in their eyes because they miss each other, how how they both wish they could be together (not only in a couple way but in a physical way as well).
The background for me was slightly harder for me to do, because I didn't know what to put as the background, I did not want a meaningless back ground, and BAM it hit me.
A senset/sunrise.
Sunset: The sannin's fall (Orochimaru dead, now Jiraiya the only one left is Tsunade.)
Sunrise: The rise of the new Generation (Naruto, Sakura etc)
And the sunset/sunrise is Tsunade realising the fall and rise of the generations.
The drawing first started out as a sketch, and then scanned onto laptop and edited with Photoshop elements
