Description half of the stamps I use in my journal are more than likely my own because nobody on deviantART makes stamps of things I like most of the time :I

so. I think I've officially lost my mind.

and for the love of god, I sure hope nobody at Sterling Cooper ends up adding me on deviantART as well. These blokes are ubiquitous on the Internet and yet they all live in the 60's.

I always wanted to watch this show but i never got around to it. Is it the kind of show you can start watching halfway through the season? 8/

Oh hellz no.

It's like a serialised drama - kind of a really, really kick-ass soap opera of sorts. Most of the episodes have their own self-contained stories but there's always a larger picture behind it, for instance when some characters get married or have affairs etc. etc. Would be really hard to keep up if you just jumped in randomly.

Haaaving said that I'm now in the process of slowly plowing through the first season. 8D

Hot diggity damn that was a fast reply.

Anyway, that's what I'm doing right now, but I'm falling so madly in love with the show that I might actually end up purchasing the boxed set. Lawd.

It's really really awesome though. Don Draper's fucking amazing

wow that is so hardcore. and it's totally the truth.

I loved the be silent and be vague and open ended about your past parts because they're so eerily true to the show :V

that man has a lot of affairs, doesn't he. I feel very sorry for Betty. :I

Quite welcome. You should check out Jon Hamm's other skits from that episode, especially Campaign Ads. It's not Mad Men related, but it's hilarious.

OH YEAH LOL
Coldplay wasn't so great though. :/ Chris Martin was flailing around the stage and not really singing. lol.

you can prob find the performances on youtube though.

Chris Martin always flails around the stage. Have you seen his AMA performance? lol

I'd probably like it regardless. For some reason they were brilliant live but not on those award shows...

I don't want just the performances, I want everything elseee

What the hell man.

OKAY HAVE YOU SEEN THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL

I checked his profile on IMDb during animation class (don't ask) and apparently he's in the film

though my friend who saw it couldn't recognise which character he played

NO I ONLY SAW THE ORIGINAL and he probably wasn't even alive when that was made.

Maybe he has a really small, blink-and-you'll-miss-it role?

Nah, I don't think so; he was billed up pretty high in the cast listing.

...though if it's one thing I've learned in my years of moviegoing, it's that positions on the marquee aren't necessarily correlated with screen time.
