This is my old Sailor Saturn costume before my mom made me a new one that looks even better and old glaive before my new one came in.

Thank you! My new version definitely looks much better since this was more based of the manga version from one of the art books it kind of had Sailor Moon's colors but also at the same time they didn't have anything else I was able to use at the time.

Thank you! She was always mine too. I need to get some pics of my new version of the costume on her since these colors looked more like one of the images from the artbook even if they looked closer to Sailor Moon's in the image. I have a much better glaive too I just have to figure out how to un-warp the wood so it will hold together right.

Yes it is. At the time that was the best blue that I could find. I have a much better costume now it looks so much closer.
It was partially based off one of the manga pics and that one was a really light blue as well. XD

Oh well. The manga picture that I was using as a reference looked more blue so thats what I did and as long as I'm happy with it thats all that matters.

Colors or not, its still a cute outfit. ^__^ Thats about the only picture of her that I have seen where Naoko let the purple get that close to blue, but who cares, it's still fun right?

Thats right but her manga uniform is a royal blue and the anime one I'm not sure it looks like a navy blue like Haruka's senshi outfit.

Well, traditionally, her colors have been in the dark purpley-blue range. I went though the artbook images and found some interesting contradictions in color. Here are places it looks more blue:

I can see why people are confused by your outfit because of how light the blue looks in these pictures. It might just be because you are out in natural light. I still say it doesn't really matter if you are having fun.

If I was inside it probably would look somewhat darker. I agree it doesn't matter as long as you have fun doing it. It does look darker when I'm inside too but its really hard finding a fabric that dark of a blue. I always though it was royal blue right before it would turn to a dark purple because thats what it looks like in some of the pictures.

Saturn's skirt, collar, glove bands, choker and boots are all the same colour. That colour is purple. Her bows are dark red.
If you claim that her colours are blue and red, then why are your boots black and not blue?

I couldn't find dark blue boots thats why. That was the only color that I could find with them being over $100 and I wasn't going to pay for a pair of boots that are that much.

If you are an artist who is not color blind and have the materials collection. You will see that that is PURPLE not BLUE! I've been drawing her and the senshi for a long time and I have seen all 200 anime episodes. I dont know where you get blue and red from those are sailormoon's colors. NOT saturn's in the manga picture it is PURPLE and red NOT BLUE show the picture to anyone else and see qwhat they say! EVEN NAOKO says they are PURPLE and red! ALL Saturns Fans do her costume in PURPLE and red!

Well you have your opinion and I have mine. I was just doing the manga style uniform and every episode that I have seen the lady in her colrs are royal blue and dark red. Even the lady's princess dress is in the royal blue color.
