That is an interesting interpretation of Nidhögg. Never before seen him portrayed similar to an Asian dragon.

This is a collective image of dragons European illustration of the 13-17 centuries.
It was difficult for me to create an image based on this illustration. norse-mythology.org/wp-content…(I assumed that there was fur on his neck. Initially, the color of the fur was supposed to be as in the picture, but later I made it brown.)
Therefore, I used paintings from the 15-17th century, and also used the color from picture from Wikipedia.
In the early images, there is fur and a dog's head, but later dragons are associated mainly with snakes and lizards.

There were also several versions of Nidhögg, two of them can be seen here. And in the future I want to return to work with old sketches of more unusual images of Nidhögg. (I did not publish these sketches on the net)
