Man that's creepy! Is she hanging upside down? I like it, it's something different haha. And it's captured quite well

Okay... wow O_o Her hair.... Omg...
I can't quite figure out if she's really hangin upside down or just shaking her head and the picture was turned 180° afterwards.
Amazing!

Wow, this is a fantastic shot. But, I think the hair movement isn't quite perfect. Rather confusing to look at, but it's pretty cool to do something different. I love the texture of the dress, btw.

I like the confusing element And the dress was GORGEOUS. I really wanted it! Some students at my University in the Fashion department made all these clothes and I photographed them. It was so much fun!

That's so exciting to be surrounded by inspiring people. I'm heading for college next year, and I can't wait to experience what you are experiencing!

It IS what you make of it. You have to go and actively find those people, but once you do it's wonderful!

Stinks falling when you have hair in your face

A very cool shot, especially considering it makes the brain think "How on earth did she do that?!"

The contrast between her vibrant hair and the paler skin tones makes for a very nice balance. The composition is great as well--the cropping certainly makes me feel as though she'll flip back onto her feet.

Great capture, thank you for sharing!

Thank you for your wonderful comment

As for how I did it. I made her flip her hair around for an hour and she got real grumpy, then finally we got this shot, so I turned it upside down because I preferred it that way

You're welcome!

Well, making her grumpy paid off. It's a great shot!

Swordexpert-Stock [2011-08-17 14:51:44 +0000 UTC]

In this image, I love the way the model seems stiff.. even if she is supposed to be "falling" I like that her arms are by her side and not flailing around lol. Its almost as if the model is at peace and I like that thought. I love her outfit and her bright auburn hair..even if it is covering her face just a tad much. Once again, excellent lighting, nothing too bright or dull looking here!

Excellent work again. Maybe try uploading a better quality version when you can. I guess thats my only concern when it comes to your gallery is that the image quality isnt the best. Once agin, I understand why it is that way though. If you do get a better connection try uploading a newer version. <3

As soon as I get better internet connection, believe me, my whole gallery is being re uploaded with higher quality images. As it is I have had to shrink these images down to about 70kb to get them to upload at all

As for the flailing, I wish she had flailed a little more, but I think after 8 hours solid of her having to contort herself and flick that gorgeous hair around she started to get a bit achey and frustrated

Thank you AGAIN for all the wonderful comments, you are my favourite commenter ever

Whats the first thing you notice?
the lightness

What do you like the most?
how you have flipped the photo, the way you have captured the hair

The least?
i would have liked to see her face. also her arms are a bit too white, they look fake. the model also looks a bit stiff

What could make it better?
loosen up a bit. play around with the lighting a bit?

Whats the first thing you thought when you saw this?
this is interesting

Thank you so much for the feedback To be honest, this shot was one that went wrong, and I do have a better cleaner one, however I tried playing about with it a bit and flipped it over and loved the look of it.

Thank you again for the feedback, it is much appreciated

Where is gravity? The head tells a different thing about that than the body. Did the photographer want to cause confusion? The colour of the skin is rather gray and the head seems red. So my association is someone who is hanging upside down.

The photo is the other way around I got her to stand still and fling her head about until I got this shot, I then turned it upside down. She is ginger, so she is naturally very pale, so maybe that explains the grey skintone?

Thanks for the comment!
