Description Second entry in my very interesting pet project.

This time, continuing on the creation story of the Source-Verse, which if you recall, was only a single universe once, referred to as a "Realm". But like I said, The Source may be alive in a way, and carry a certain amount of sentience, it is not a completely living being. It is pure energy that binds the cosmos together. A force for neither good nor evil. It is that it is. It is simply those who hold the power to wield its might. Thus it ultimately fell upon another to carry out the task of molding, and crafting the universe as The Source willed it. That includes planting the seeds of life that would eventually lead to the creation of the most precious form of life most dear to The Source, and its son and successor, Xerimus.

Mortal-kind.

But that's where we have a Primus and Unicron rivalry emerge in the form of both Xerimus, The First Elder God who wields the Ashlam/Light, and the multi-headed Second Elder God who embodies the Vashtar/Darkness, Zy'Gorych. A fiendish creature who only ever cared about using his nigh infinite power to do as he pleased. He even created the Great Old Ones as a means of experimentation in order to see how chaos would effect this new universe. And it was also to keep the precious balance Xerimus stands for from cementing itself. He also saw no value in the existence of a frail, weak, easily killable race of insects. And thus he sought to keep his "brother" from ever making mortalking see the light of day. Which is ultimately lead to the War for Creation, with The Old Ones as his army against Xerimus. However, Xerimus could also bring children of his own to life, and beseeched The Source to grant him the power to produce powerful creatures who were second to him, and who could wield both the Ashlam, AND the Vashtar: The Vaninhala Four. Xerimus then gave life to the Seraphim to war against The Old Ones.

And thus did the War for the future of existence come to pass.

When you want to build a world, you have to start big. And nothing's as big as a War for the very right to bring life into existence against forces who embody chaos, and darkness.

Either way, next will focus more on the Old Ones, The Vaninhala, and even The Malzalam themselves.
